Mrs. Howard's 4th Grade Class

Hello,

 

 With Valentine's Day coming up,  I want to remind everyone there will be activities going on. We will have a short celebration at the end of the day on the 14th where the kids will be able to give out their Valentine's Day cards.  If they would like, they can decorate a shoe box (or similar sized box) to use as their mailbox. Candy is fine to give out, but please remember that there is a nut allergy in the classroom. Please do not send any candies with nuts in them. 

 

Student Council is also selling Crush Soda for $1 a can with a Valentine's Day note.  The kids have the opportunity to buy them for their friends at lunch each day this week. Also, if you would like to get one for your child, you can email me and just send the money in with them.

 

Next week we will be working on multiplying fractions by whole numbers in math. They will have the Chapter 8 Test next Friday, February 17.

 

We will also finish up Chapter 6 in Science on energy and its changes next week.  The test will be February 21st. 

 

 Also, don't forget that there is no school on the 20th in observance of President's Day.
